The Azerbaijani Manat is the official currency of Azerbaijan, divided into 100 qapik. Banknotes range from 1 to 500 Manat, and coins are available from 1 to 50 qapik. Introduced between 1919-1923, it was reissued after independence in 1992 and updated in 2006 with new coins and a symbol (₼) inspired by the Euro.
